Gia Soisoongnoen - Freelance Artist

Gia, also known as Gigi Rockets, is a talented, up and coming artist

who’s been a hit at various cons and shows, snowballing new fans from

every con with her spunky style and heartwarming character. Born in

Thailand she spent her early years drawing her favorite anime like

Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball. After immigrating to the US, Gia

moved to Vegas where went from party girl to painter—leaving the

scene to pursue her passion for video games and comic books. With a

calling and desire to draw, Gia is a fan who pays it forward by creating

art that borders on chic, sexy and geek. Like all great artists Gia puts

her soul into the art—a soul that’s sexy, fun, and a little sassy… so

watch out!

Among many other projects, Gia is currently working on her Gigi Chibi Blox:

mini canvas paintings that are as adorable as they are fun, allowing the

collector more freedom to display and arrange their favorite characters

in a way that suits their individual style of fandom. She also helps in

designing apparel for the company Savvy Sox, because even feet need

to feel fun and sexy. Her art is featured at Pop Monster in Torrance, Ca

with two murals painted in San Pedro, Ca.
